It is always a pleasure to read your work and see what plot twist you can come up with. Not sure if you ever heard of the anime "Promised Neverland" but this definitely reminds me of that story,

The beginning sounded like a reverse twist on my entry XD.
I wasn’t expecting it to end up with the orhpanage and stuff at the end though. Nice plot twist! 👍
