I've been wanting to compliment you on how sensitively and realistically you are writing a female first person POV as a male author. I have read so many pieces on here from other guys trying to write a female voice that made me want to gag. It is SO refreshing to feel like I'm reading about a real person and not a caricature of some silly fantasy girl. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

This I swear is one of the biggest compliments I have ever received. I always thought of writing the POV of Glory in the same way as I've always spoken in my head without adding things just to make her seem "girlier." Because I don't think that's how women think. Women think just like I do as a person.

While the story kind of puts her in the "damsel in distress" archetype, I've always tried to keep her complex by showing both her weak sides (easily manipulated, apologetic, naive) and her strong sides (ever curious, assertive, analytical)
