As we were talking you noticed the bottom of your shoe had been coming apart. (long-awaited anyway since you have had them for so long) and began to look sad. In your eyes, I noticed how upset you were because of how much you loved those shoes. I wanted nothing more than to run to the store and buy you a new pair just to never see your face like that again. Though all I said was "that sucks"
