MI6特務「丹尼爾」，來台處理好友「查理」的身後事。為了調查事件真相，他刻意滯留台灣，深入挖掘；不料，竟讓他查出一件跨國級的秘密科研計畫！計畫主持單位「聖光會」，得知消息曝光後，立刻綁架丹尼爾，還對他進行記憶重置，並驅逐出境！回到英國後，丹尼爾隨即被MI6雪藏起來，直至退役。清閒退休生活過沒兩年的丹尼爾，一天早晨，突然接到MI6的緊急徵召，並告知他，台灣發生嚴重的生態浩劫！由於人力短缺的關係，局長親自出面，請他重披戰袍，協助尋找滯台VIP與撤離行動；為此，丹尼爾再度踏上台灣島。只不過他沒想到的是，台灣正在發生的根本不是什麼「生態浩劫」，而是想都沒想過的「活屍災變」！
