剛開始網路創作時，我也曾想要給自己取個富有「深度」的名字。

曾經我想用名字表達我的「詩情畫意」，但每當創作與名字風格不合的作品時，看著就覺得怪異。

也曾想用名字展現自己「滿腹經綸」，但是在創作時，總會因為冠著名字而不好下筆。

木子言，拆解於我的真名，不做層層的包裝，用最真實的一面展現自己的創作，作品是人，人亦為作品。

名字不寄與厚望，因為相信總能在創作中不斷突破精進；名字不高尚，因為在接受指教批評時能更為謙卑。

若名字是象徵著一個人，那麼我要做一個最與現實生活中相近的人，而不是頂著虛假的面孔寫著違背真心的故事與天馬行空。

木子言是我的筆名，也是我最真誠的人格。
