昔宮有二官，二官皆績甚，然其生習異也。

一官勤奮，作朝至暮，自入宮未嘗眠過，以為因時充也。不幸，年三十而卒。

一官逍遙，日出作而落以息，生息井然，方直至古稀年歲。

夜深而眠亦或不眠，此雖期短內時充，然命短矣；生息有律者，實時充矣，命綿長矣乎！
