故事講上王諾言於2019年畢業黃人中學，於2024年開辦了一間偵探社「王諾言偵探社」，但可惜他弟弟王諾凡於2022年畢業雷莊中學，成績差得很嚴重。於2024年，當言兄(王諾言)修讀完心理學後，認為心理學家或社工並不適合他，於是嘗試成立偵探社，邀請弟弟凡仔(王諾凡)做偵探社的普通文員，然後請了四名員工：黃芷毛(助手)，陳仁軒(高級文員+精英偵探隊隊長)，吳俊熙(精英偵探隊成員)和李嘉瑤(精英偵探隊成員)。除了這些人物外，還有警員祝星宇，法醫陳凱一和 外國回來的表姐陳佳琳以及一些市民 和兇手。啊！還有一個主角：城市香港！
