Kaito and I were in Dad's room today. Dad popped a painkiller into the glass of water and Kaito and I watched as it slowly fizzled into nothing.

Dad took a sip of the glass.

"How does it taste, Daddy?" Kaito stared at it, as if it were a jar of sweets.
