此時丹琰魔族勢力已經過於強勢,甚至壓迫到大部分居於東方大陸之人的生存空間,天空神見其中一部族男女相貌甚是喜愛,於心不忍見其滅絕便賜與他們雙翼及名為「天合」的能力,此是為羽族由來。羽族漸漸壯大起來,不料創世神(有了魔族前車之鑑)認為天空神是在破壞萬物手衡,便要對羽族降下天譴。 天空神為護羽族先是將他們藏到東方大陸極北深山中(今京梁),隨後與創世神直屬部下一路打逃到世界的西南,最後仍不幸殞落,化為「天空的遺骨」,創世神命各種族人去其上建立國家以防有人要復活天空神(順便下封印),但避開頭骨和心臟(今亞提烏斯、羅提亞)而之後創世神還打算對羽族動手時卻被大地神出面阻止,並要羽族答應今後永不出世
