街邊的燈光半明半昧，閃爍不停，在漆黑中顯得光彩奪目，可是遮蓋不了奄奄一息的事實，等待着殘酷的結局，等待着生命化為灰燼，等待着壽終正寢的一天。街道仍然游人如鯽，馬路仍然絡繹不絕，城市仍然燈火通明，頓時這盞路燈顯得微乎其微，不足掛齒。以往理想很偉大，曾經發誓要突圍而出、鶴立雞群，成為最亮的路燈，發出最耀眼的光芒，成為社會的棟樑，為社會作出最大貢獻。可惜，每個天真的理想背後命中注定會伴隨着殘忍的結局，人有時還是要向現實屈服，接受現實。
