艾玛有着一个美好的家庭，相爱的父母和乖巧的弟弟。她从小就仰慕父亲，渴望成为一个像他一样的突击队警察。所以17岁时报考了执法学院入门考试。原本以为会一直顺风顺水下去的她却突然迎来了父亲的死讯。一时之间，她难以接受而颓废了起来。后来收到了清道夫部门的录取信，她本想拒绝，却被友人告知父亲的死有蹊跷。于是她进了学院，开始了调查。她会在任务中得到线索，学到教训，和各人物们见面。她发誓一定要讲凶手逮捕。
