The masked man escaped through the broken window.

Fear and Comfort

Meera trembled uncontrollably.

Arjun turned toward her instantly.

“Are you hurt?”

She shook her head weakly.

But tears had already formed.

Without thinking—

She grabbed his arm tightly.

“I was scared…”

The vulnerability in her voice shattered something inside him.

Arjun gently held her shoulders.

“I won’t let anything happen to you.”

For the first time since the accident—

Meera believed him.

A Hidden Truth

Arjun stood alone in his study.

Kabir faced him seriously.

“This wasn’t random.”

“I know.”

Kabir lowered his voice.

“Do you think it’s Vikram?”
