Introduction

June 12 was supposed to be a happy day.

Arjun had worked hard to earn a place in a prestigious hostel. His parents were proud, relatives congratulated him, and everyone spoke about the bright future waiting ahead.

But for his younger sister, Aisha, the excitement felt different.

Ever since they were little, Arjun had been her closest friend. They shared jokes, secrets, and countless memories. The thought of waking up and not seeing him at home felt strange.

On the morning of June 12, the entire family—Arjun, his mother, his father, and Aisha—set out together to the hostel. It was meant to be a simple journey to drop him off and return home.

Yet none of them expected how emotional that day would become.

As the hostel gates drew closer, every kilometer felt like a countdown. The parents tried to stay strong, Arjun tried to act brave, and Aisha tried to hide the tears gathering in her eyes.

Sometimes the most difficult goodbyes are not said between strangers.

They are said between family members who love each other the most.

This is the story of a brother leaving home, a sister learning to let go, and a family discovering that distance can never weaken the bonds of love.
