The next morning felt different.

He looked at me.

I smiled.

Krit's expression softened.

"I know you will."

Before leaving, he quietly said,

"Don't worry."

"Your secret is safe with me."

A few days later, Narin introduced me to his closest friend again, this time with a different smile.

Krit understood everything without another explanation.

He never asked unnecessary questions.

He simply accepted us.

Not long after...

I told my own closest friend the truth.

He stared at me for a few seconds.

"I was wondering when you two would finally admit it."

"You knew?"

He shrugged.

"You looked at each other differently."

I laughed.
