This came to me by way of a scene in the video game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, where the titular Princess Zelda is looking out of a window in her castle tower. The entire atmosphere, built up by the surroundings and evets happening until that point, helped emerge this story, and has left a big impression on me ever since.
