至於為甚麼叫《刺青少女 Se a vida é》？取書名一向是我的弱項，短篇故事原稱《十九歲寡婦與她的蓮花刺青》，由於這個蓮花刺青是故事裡很重要的象徵，希望保留，但又想要個清新一點的書名，最後取了「刺青少女」外加甚麼好呢？然後突然想到一首舊歌：Se a vida é (that's the way life is)。
