Cassidy's psychic powers get Mark out of the tree

Mark climbed and sat on the branch, silently willing it to not fall down.

Cassidy pulled out a trampoline from the garden shed and positioned it below.

Then it collapsed on itself and he frowned.

"Ah."

"Ohhhhhh!" Mark whimpered as the branch he was sitting on began to crack.

He reached up for a higher branch, but it was a bit too late...

Cassidy shuddered.

His eyes, which were once dark brown, now turned a dark purple haze.

Mark found himself floating gently to the ground.

Cassidy keeled over, clutching his head.

"What... was that?"
