Markham Rogerson stood near the fireplace.

'The Darkness and the Light brings forth all the fire in the city', he said. Deanne looked at the candles, it burned brightly. For three centuries the Rogerson Family were feeding on the blood of humans.

In the evening the coffins opened in the dim dungeon. 

And the screaming of the dead filled the gloom.
